A 30th anniversary celebration deserves something special, and Graspop Metal Meeting has certainly delivered. The Belgian festival has added a whopping 102 bands to its 2027 line-up, and there are some absolute monsters in the mix.
If you were thinking about heading to Belgium next summer, it might be time to start making plans.
Graspop Metal Meeting has revealed another 102 acts for its 2027 edition, taking place in Dessel from 17–20 June. Celebrating its 30th anniversary, the festival is putting together a seriously heavyweight bill, covering pretty much every corner of the metal spectrum.
Among the latest additions are Amon Amarth, Arch Enemy, Dimmu Borgir, Kreator, Lorna Shore, Down, Paradise Lost, Watain, Children of Bodom, Killswitch Engage, Overkill, Suicidal Tendencies and Converge.
And that’s barely scratching the surface.
There’s plenty for fans of the old guard, with Bruce Dickinson, Metal Church, Armored Saint, Forbidden and Tygers of Pan Tang joining the bill. Meanwhile, the more extreme end of proceedings is represented by Cryptopsy, Humanity’s Last Breath, Bodysnatcher, Legion of the Damned and Triptykon.
For something a little different, there’s also GWAR, Igorrr, Body Count featuring Ice-T, Tom Morello, The Sisters of Mercy and The Inspector Cluzo.
One particularly interesting addition is Murderdolls, marking a rare return for the horror-punk outfit. There’s also a welcome appearance from Children of Bodom, a name that will undoubtedly bring back memories for anyone who grew up with the Finnish melodic death metal scene.
The new additions join an already impressive collection of headliners, including Parkway Drive, Faith No More (personal favourites of the FGTHM crew), Evanescence, blink-182, Marilyn Manson, Mötley Crüe, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, and Helloween.
That’s a pretty eclectic collection of headliners, to say the least.
With 110 acts now announced across five stages and four days, Graspop is shaping up to be one of Europe’s major metal gatherings in 2027. There are still plenty of reasons to keep an eye on further announcements, but there’s already enough here to keep most metal fans busy for the entire weekend.
